When I originally booked Rome I didn’t know what to expect, but I guess that the best part about traveling to places you never thought you would of traveled. I stayed at Relais Orso which was an amazing little boutique hotel down a little cobblestone street.
On my way to Rome I knew all I really wanted to see if nothing else was the fontana di trevi – little did I know that I would just magically run into this fountain. Thats one of the amazing things about Rome is that its unpredictable. I saw everything I could of ever wanted just by getting lost. Rome is actually tiny. You don’t need more then five days to see the whole thing, and trust me when I say this.
Other then the amazing architecture you have the great food and gelato oh and did I tell you about the shopping? I would get a ticket to Rome just for that.
I also really fell in love with the Capital Museum. I found the ceiling to be some of the most beautiful things that I have ever seen. Along with their area of just heads and the fact that they had things from Egypt in there.
